Patricia Ann Billings entered into God’s house on April 9, 2013 at her home in Shawnee, OK. She was born in Modesto, CA on June 26, 1951. She was a true southern lady whose passions included making jewelry, cooking for her family, collecting depression era red glass, and Gone with the Wind collectables. She cherished her family and enjoyed many camping trips to both her lake lots on Eufaula Lake, OK and to the Mountains of Oklahoma. She loved to pass on her knowledge to her loved ones and we are thankful for the lessons in entertaining, fishing, cooking, jewelry making, canning, dancing, and joy in life. Holidays were made especially memorable by her amazing cooking, the remarkable setup, and her incredible giving nature.
Left to cherish Patricia’s memories are her husband, Burk Greenwald; her sons, Phillip Moore (Shelia) of Shawnee, OK, Brandon Streng (Anne) of Dallas, TX; Parents, Norma Taylor of Sonora, CA, and Eldon and Janet Billings of Fitzhugh, OK; siblings, Tamara Taylor, Mike Taylor (Kathy), Cliff Billings, Beth Tiffin, and Susan Pendell,; her 7 loving grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved dog, Hope. She was preceded in death by Don Taylor; and her grandparents, Clifton and Dollie Billings, and Carl and June Reynolds.
A private ceremony was held at Fitzhugh Baptist Church on April 13, 2013 and she will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial.
