Patricia Lou Elliott

Patricia Lou Elliott, 75, passed from this life on January 20, 2024. Patricia was born on May 31, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and was the youngest of 3 children. She was the daughter of Dugan L. Elliott and Juanita Griggs Elliot. Patricia was a 1966 graduate of Shawnee High School. Following high school, she went on to work in the office at the Salvation Army Church.

She later went on to work at Tinker Air Force Base for 19 years. Everyone who knew Patricia knew her love for God and her dedication to the Salvation Army Church, where she would wear her uniform with pride. Patricia played the flute in her youth and proudly played for her beloved church. Patricia smiled a lot and it warmed the hearts of everyone she met. If she called you friend, you were truly blessed.

Although she never wed or had children of her own, she had an incredible love for her family and her cats. Every cat was special to her, and she lived to love them. Another great love in her life was her little nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who all held a special place in her heart. She took them all to everything from the Ice Capades, Roller Skating, the movies, and shopping trips to the local Dollar General store. She enjoyed shopping and loved her Diet Coke.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Dugan L. Elliott, mother Juanita Elliott, nephew Terry Scott Elliott, brother Joseph Benjamin Elliott, and brother Dugan Louis Elliott, Jr. She is survived by her brother Larry W. Elliott and wife Glenda Elliott (Weatherford, TX), as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends who all adored her greatly.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A committal service will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801.
