Peggy Sue Bartosh went to be with the Lord November 26, 2022 in the comfort of her home in Brentwood, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Peggy was born January 15, 1953 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Herman and Ardoth (Bond) Reding.
After graduating High School and attending Gordon Cooper Vo Tech, Peggy became a Regional Marketing Director developing Retirement Communities in Hawaii, Tennessee, Alabama, New York, Illinois, Iowa, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. She also was an Aerobics instructor, owned a Plant Leasing Business and owned Chili Pops, which sold Paletas to grocery stores nationwide.
Peggy married the love of her life, Glen Bartosh, on December 28, 1970 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Peggy was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother.
She loved and lived life to the fullest, leaving behind lots of wonderful memories with family and friends. Peggy enjoyed doing many things and excelled in each and every one of them. She was a great seamstress, working on stained glass, her gardens, and arts and crafts of every kind imaginable. Peggy loved to go out dancing with Glen and had Glen as a dance partner since the 5th grade. She loved cooking and preparing meals that were fit for a queen. Peggy loved her home and family. She loved travelling around the world with Glen and spending precious moments with her grandchildren.
Peggy is preceded in death by her daughter April Johnson, parents Herman and Ardoth (Bond) Reding, and siblings Ronnie Reding and Sharon Burns.
Left to cherish Peggy’s loving memory are her husband Glen Bartosh of the home, daughter Teila (Santiago) Hernandez of New Port Richie, Florida; sister Dolores Lemon of Stillwater, Oklahoma; son in law Michael Johnson of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, four nieces, and two nephews.
Peggy loved all and was truly loved by all.
