Randy graduated from Del City high school in May of 1980. He later went to work at Tinker Air Force Base. He was an electronic technician and worked on the Cruise Missiles. He was a very patriotic young man. This was emphasized by the fact that he had an image of the Cruise Missile tattooed on his left forearm. After his artistic talents were discovered, he was loaned out to several divisions to paint murals on interior walls of various aircraft and missiles. He retired from TAFB after 20+ years of service to his country.
Randy was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved to go to Lake Texoma with his dad and brothers. However, he didn’t like the conventional methods of fishing. He preferred to bowfish. He got so good at it, he got the nickname of “Gar-Slayer”.
Randy is survived by his father, Ronald of Del City; brother, Steve of Edmond; brother, Rick of Pensacola, Florida; he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
