Sharon was a devoted mother, beloved "Gigi," and a cherished friend to many. A 1960 graduate of Shawnee High School, Sharon later moved to Garden City, Kansas, where she raised her children. She began a long career with Federal Express, retiring after 25 years. Her work with FedEx took her from Kansas to Arizona, California, and eventually back to her home state of Oklahoma, where she continued to enrich the lives of those around her.
Sharon’s creativity and passion were evident in all she did. A gifted seamstress and artist, she crafted beautiful quilts, garments, and paintings. She worked in a dress shop for many years and was well known for her impeccable style - earning her the reputation of a true fashionista.
Dancing was one of Sharon’s greatest joys. It brought her happiness, lifelong friendships, and even led her to meet her sweetheart and beloved dance partner, John Baker of Neosho, Missouri.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Vicki and David Germann of Garden City, Kansas, Jerry “Don” and Judy Sullivan of Bullard, Texas, and Benny and Nancy Sullivan of St Helens, Oregon; grandchildren: Amanda and David Donahoe, Clayton and Darcy Holub, Tommy and Christina Sullivan, Staci and Tyler Ross, and Scott Germann; great grandchildren: Caydence Ginther, Kynslee Holub, Sydney Sullivan, Lincoln Ross, and Bentley Ross; sisters: Marie Wares, Loretta and David Parris, and Zoretta Mauldin.
