Teresa Jann Gray

July 25, 1951 – April 21, 2023
Obituary of Teresa Jann Gray
IN THE CARE OF

Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Teresa Jann (Bone) Gray, 71; passed from this life and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 21, 2023.

Born to Wilburn Oral and Patsy Ruth (McCullar) Bone on July 25, 1951 in Shawnee, OK; she attended Shawnee and Tecumseh public schools, graduating from Tecumseh High School, in 1969.

She married Larry Elmer Gray on December 21,1968 in the Church of God on Pottenger St. Gifted on the piano from a very young age, her talent was always a great blessing in the life of her family. As a mother, she was attentive to a fault, and diligently instilled in her two children a love for God’s Word and His Presence and set an example before them of a life well lived for her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Employed as a nursery worker at First Baptist Church of Tecumseh for 15 years, she was much loved by all the kids, only retiring when she became a grandmother.

God’s faithfulness and blessed assurance to her and her family, much like the songs she loved playing, were a constant refrain that she echoed and held onto time and time again throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Welton and Thelma Bone of Bethany; and Isaac Ben and Mary McCullar of Shawnee; an infant brother; her brother, Kenneth Doyle Bone of Shawnee; and an infant grandson, Theodore Paul Ryan Gray. Surviving are her husband, Larry E. Gray of Shawnee; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Shanna Gray of Shawnee; and a daughter, Heather Gray of Shawnee. Two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Isaac and Kelsey Gray of Shawnee; Caleb and Jenna Gray of Shawnee; A granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rebecca and Nick Barnes of Shawnee; Four great-grandchildren, Thomas Lee Barnes; Fletcher Benjamin Gray; a set of pre-born identical twins, due this summer; and additional other extended family and friends.

A Private Interment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee; OK.

Arrangements are under the care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
