Terrance attended Bethel Public Schools and Gordon Cooper Vo Tech. Terrance participated in the DECA program while in school.
Terrance moved to NYC and went to work in the corporate offices of Kinney Shoes. It was while living in NYC that he met his husband of 26 years, John F. Kelly.
Terrance and John went on to become foster parents and the adoptive parents of Daniel, Matthew, Thomas, Ricky, Kate, Alex, Jeremiah and Joseph.
Terrance is survived by his mom, Sandra Burton, brother David Burton and his wife Annette Burton, sister Carol Garrett. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
The true measure of a man is in how he lived his life. Terrance lived his sharing and caring for others. We are all truly blessed by his presence in ours.
