Terrie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her passion for children was evident throughout her career, as she dedicated 25 years to Shawnee Public Schools, where she touched the lives of many students and families. Terrie was a constant source of love and support for her own children and grandchildren, always cheering them on in sports and standing by them through all of life’s milestones.
Terrie found joy in the simple moments of life, especially when she was out in the sunshine reading or relaxing by the pool or planting flowers around her home. Her creativity shined through her quilting, and she loved sharing that gift with others. She treasured her monthly Sam’s trips with her sister, turning even the most ordinary errands into memories. She especially loved the week-long trips she took in the semi with her husband, David, moments they both held close. More than anything, Terrie cherished being GiGi to her grandchildren, a role that brought her the greatest pride and happiness. She was also a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan, and she never missed a chance to cheer on her favorite team with enthusiasm and heart.
Terrie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Ledinski; children, Austin (Sadie) Ledinski, Amanda Ledinski, and Emily Ledinski; grandchildren, Joseph Radford, Attalisa Radford, Ezariah Ledinski, Jeremiah Ledinski, and Bailee Reeves; her mother, Bette Atkinson; sister, Debbie (Terry) Dye; sister-in-law, Robin Sharp; nieces, Shelby Dye and Braxton Henderson and Jennifer Santos; Uncle, Raymond Atkinson; Aunts: Alverna (Mae) Potts and Barbara Janopoulo; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Atkinson; grandparents Raymond and Helen Atkinson; and mother-in-law, Melba McCullar.
