

Tommy Earl Davis was born on December 14, 1948 in Shawnee Oklahoma the second son of eleven children to Roosevelt W. Davis Sr. and LaRuth (Collins) Davis. Tommy accepted Christ at an early age and attended various churches in Shawnee and New Lima –Seipio Baptist Church; recently he regularly attended serving the Lord and pastors Carl and Betty Young. Tommy attended schools in Shawnee and New Lima Oklahoma and Dunbar Elementary, as well as Shawnee Jr. High school and New Lima school. Tommy worked at Oklahoma Baptist University, went to the Job Corps working as a Fire Fighter as well as many other odd jobs helping the elderly in the community. He loved being in the parks and reading a variety of books at the library.
Tommy was preceded in death father Roosevelt Davis Sr, a brother Kenneth E. Davis, his uncle Eugene Collins Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother LaRuth Collins-Davis of the home, two brothers Norman T. Davis and Roosevelt W Davis Jr. both of Shawnee, 7 sisters Lillie Davis (Elwood) Black, Sylvia (Troy) Price of Oklahoma City, & Midwest City, Maxine Davis, Tina Davis, Joann (Rich) Sanders of Shawnee, Vernell (James) Richardson of Muskogee, and Rosetta Davis-Henderson of Erie, PA as well as a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives, cousins, friends and loved ones.
