Tyler Wood

Luther resident, Tyler Rhyan Wood, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 17. He was born September 9, 1998 in Ada, Oklahoma. Tyler worked as a mechanic at Kennedy Tire and Auto Service in Edmond. He was an avid motorcyclist and was part of a large motorcycle family. Tyler also loved music and doing mechanic work. If he wasn’t spending time with his little brother, whom he loved more than anything, he was with his fiancée, Kylie. He was funny, kind, ornery, and full of life. Tyler had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that could make everyone smile.

Those left to cherish their memories are his mother and step-father, Charity and Billy Jack Sanders of Luther; father, Shawn Wood of Ada; brothers, Dylan Wood, Dylan Sanders, Parker Wood, and Memphis Wood; fiancé, Kylie Evans-Wood; grandparents, GranMary and Papa Ryan, Boyd Don and Brenda Pendley, Catherine Woods, and Jean Ann Sanders; great-grandparents, Mary Embree, Jimmie Pendley, and Arley Johnson; aunts and uncles, Chad and Kate Waters, Josh Pendley, Crisha Voget, Janet Pendley, Jay and Tonya Presley, Ryan and Patience Crabb, Becka Sanders, and Forrest Sanders; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 7pm at 131 S. Pennsylvania, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 74801.
