Albert Howard, age 65, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father November 6, 2017. Mr. Howard was born on December 6, 1951 to the late Felix and Kathryn Howard. Mr. Howard was an avid U of K fan, a member of Okolona Christian Church and the Moving Forward Limb Loss organization.
Among those who have preceded him in death include his brother Dennis Howard. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years, Teresa Howard; son, Matthew Howard (Tess); daughter, Kathy Batts (Joe); 5 grandchildren, Darby, Ivy, Dylan, Kaylee, and Enoch; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Okolona Christian Church with burial in Highland Memory Gardens to follow. Friends may pay their respects at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
