Mr. Harbin was born August 24, 1954 in Louisville and was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 31 years and Spencer Christian Church.
Among those who preceded him in death include his father, William Ellsworth Harbin and brother in law, Jockey Boley.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 29 years, Terry Harbin; children, Becky Harbin and Ben Harbin (Erica); grandchildren, Evie, Xavier and Maddox; mother, Alma Louise Harbin; siblings, Lois Boley, Michael (Barbara), Paula, Vaughn Ray (Theresa) and Chris (Kyle) Harbin and a host of other family and friends.
Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Mt. Washington Schoppenhorst (Hwy 44 East at one mile east of Bardstown Road) with a memorial service held at 5:30 pm.
