Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, Francis and Martha Kenney; sister, Cabrini Henson and brother, Gabriel Kenney.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dennis J. Smith; sons, Jasper Daniel Smith (Amanda) and Simon Kenton Smith (Kristie); siblings, Hanna Tate, Mary Lucy Yocum, Anne Malone, Michael Kenney, Rafe Kenney, John A. Kenney, Rita Pardee, Judy Kenney and Paul Kenney; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (155 Stringer Lane, Mount Washington) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home(Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance). Expressions of sympathy may be made to The American Kidney Fund or the American Heart Association.
