Ms. Anna Louise Herdt, age 79, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 22, 2026. She was born on November 27, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Annie Wheeler. Ms. Herdt was a Christian by faith and was a member of Impact Shepherdsville Church of God. She is preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers and sisters; and granddaughter, Tamra Craig.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Debbie Craig, Samuel B. Herdt, Jr. (Denise), Jeffrey D. Herdt (Bobbie), and Scotty W. Herdt (Stacy); 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and close friend, Samuel Herdt, Sr..
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
