Ms. Melo was born November 26, 1933 in Louisville and was a retiree of Kroger after 16 years of service. She was a member of Brooks Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, Eldrich Kincaid, Settie Jordan Reynolds and Gilbert Reynolds.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, James Seigle (Janie), Francis Parrill, Ruth Ford, Deborah Williamson, Janet Langevin (Michael), Gary Seigle and Theresa Erkila (Randy); 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; siblings, James Kincaid, Theresa Senn and Barbara Johnston and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst.
