Arlean Francis Harris

Mrs. Arlean Francis Harris, age 92, of Mt. Washington, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 28, 2020. Mrs. Harris was born on November 12, 1927 in Louisville, KY to the late Roy and Ruby Sullivan. She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her children dearly. Mrs. Harris was a faithful saint of God. She grew up under Bro. Sowders’ ministry and throughout her life served the Lord in many roles, always with a servant’s heart. She was a faithful member of Christian Assembly Church in Louisville, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Harris and brother, Charles Sullivan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Linda F. Harris, John W. Harris III (Jan) and Louis D. Harris (Bonita); 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and siblings, James Sullivan, Joyce Carter and Richard Sullivan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Christian Assembly Church (9020 Stonestreet Rd., Louisville, KY). Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 12 p.m. at the church with burial to follow in Gospel of the Kingdom Campground in Shepherdsville, KY.

Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
