Austin Cornelius Saylor

Austin Cornelius Saylor, age 21, of Louisville, entered eternal life on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Austin was born on May 10, 1999 in Louisville, KY to Travis Saylor and Lisa Koontz. Austin was a daredevil. He lived his life to the fullest and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. He loved living in the fast lane and driving. His family meant everything to him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John and Doris Crawford and Earl and Imogene Saylor.

Austin’s memory will live on through his mother, Lisa Koontz; father, Travis Saylor (Jennifer); his lady, Lyla Meadors; siblings, Alyssa Murphy, Hayley Norton, Mikayla Saylor, Elijah Medsker, Kaydence Saylor and Braxton Saylor; nephew and godson, Carter Robinson; grandparents, Corney Saylor, Dixie Saylor, Marlene Saylor and Karen Koontz Fencl, Larry and Teresa Badgett; dog, Tucker and a host of other dear loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home – Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive) with the committal service to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
