Barbara Ann Foley

Mrs. Barbara Ann Foley, age 83, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Mrs. Foley was born in Jefferson County, KY on June 19, 1941, to the late Clyde Howard Brown and Reva Priddy Brown. With grace, kindness, and unwavering faith, Barbara touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, cherished granny, and a devoted member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She will be forever remembered for the kindness and generosity and the love she gave. Though she has gone home, her prayers go on and is a lasting reminder of a life well-lived and a love never-ending. In addition to her parents, her siblings, Fred, Tim, Judy and Theresa and her grandson, Joshua preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 38 years, Douglas “Doug” O. Foley; children, Terry Wood, Sherry Casey and Connie Thacker; stepdaughter, Rhonda Lafallette; grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley), Shawn and Kayla (Rusty); siblings, Gerri, Arnold, Betty, Diane and Keith; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Easton, Teaghan and Sloan and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at United Missionary Baptist Church (11512 Andalee Dr., Louisville, KY 40272) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, June 4th from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville) and on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the church.
