Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, James and Ruby Lair; brothers, Rondall and Royce Lair and sister, Thelma Compton.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 29 years, Joseph "Bill" Goodman; children, Dewayne Calhoun, Kathy Graves (Danny), Deana Calhoun and Connie Duke (Travis); grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon, Austin, Tiffany and Amber; great grandchildren, Aria, Sebastian and Harleigh; her stepchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
