Betty Jean Pape Johnston

Mrs. Betty Jean Pape Johnston, age 77, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on February 14, 2017. Mrs. Johnston was a customer service representative for Pape's Archery and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and A.S.P.C.A. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Fred and Catherine Wenz Pape; husband, Joseph "Sonny" Johnston, Sr.; sister, Carole Ann Sweeney; and brother-in-law, Joseph T. Sievert. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joseph L. Johnston, Jr. (Teresa), Darrell Johnston (Annette), Cindy Scott (Randy) and Julie Elkin (Cole); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Pape, Jr. (Betty Jo); sister, Diana Pape Sievert; and brother-in-law, Theodore Sweeney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Luke Catholic Church (4211 Jim Hawkins Dr. Louisville, KY 40229) with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
