Betty Wayne Phillips

Mrs. Betty Wayne Phillips, age 81, of Louisville KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 2, 2021. Mrs. Phillips was born in Washington City, VA on September 2, 1939, to the late William Scott Burke and Mary Carroll Burke. She was a Unit Director for Beauty Control Cosmetics.

Among those who preceded her in death are her parents, 1st husband, Clinas Smith; 2nd husband, Charles Phillips; brother, George Burke; sisters, Wanda Hicks and Lois Robinson; granddaughter, Kimberly Bamman, and stepdaughter, Debbie Darland.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Margaret Bamman (Von Kestner) and Carol Millard (Mike); grandson, Cline Bamman (Kellei); brothers, Jim Burke (Janet) and Ronnie Burke (Debbie); sister, Patsy Rose; step-children, Mike Phillips, Charlene Phillips, Teresa Kemp (Mark), Karen Blaker (Mike), great grandchildren, Daylin Smith, Olivia Ballard, Arya Bamman, Brynden Bamman, and Paige Leonard; 9 Step-grandchildren; and 20 great-step-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 6, 2021, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Family may pay their respects on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 12: 00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
