Billie Cox

Mr. Billie H. Cox, age 85, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2021. Mr. Cox was born on February 11, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, KY to the late William and Mary (Boggess) Cox. He retired from Taylor Battery Company and attends Little Flock Baptist Church. He was a member of the Bullitt County Fair Board and the North Bullitt Lion’s Club. Mr. Cox was a U.S. Army veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 63 years, Robbie (Pogue) Cox, children, Ricky Cox (Sandy Crowe), Karen Davenport (Jeff) and Russell Cox (Becky); grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Beth, Amy, Marianne, Erin, Jordan and Chayse; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Riley.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12-8 pm at Little Flock Baptist Church (5500 N. Preston Hwy.
