Bobby Kathryn Shull Hughes Adams

Born on May 15th, 1928, in Hopewell, Kentucky in their 5th generation Shull family homestead to Justus and Elsie Shull (deceased). She was an older sister to Glen (deceased) and Jerry.

Happily married for 35 years to Thomas Hughes (deceased 1982), living in Cleveland, OH for 28 years. Finding love again in 1986 with her husband, Connie W. Adams, in Louisville, Kentucky where they spent 36 wonderful years together. She was a Bible teacher for over 70 years to children and women of all ages. She was instrumental in supporting both husbands in the Lord’s work. She cared for her home with pride and welcomed all to her table. She lived and aged with grace and was an example of a virtuous Christian woman.

She loved to travel the world with her family. She was a loving mother to her children, Donna (deceased) Rickey, Gordon (deceased), Kurt (deceased), Elynn, Wilson, Martin and Kimberley. She was a well- loved mother-in-law by Donna, Julie, Joanie, and Wally. She was a grandma or Mamaw to her 16 grandchildren: Karen, Barbara, Jason, Jessy, Kendra, Angela, Nicholas, Sharon, Dale, Crystal, Luke, Amber, Aurie, Adel, Kathryn, and Thomas. She was also blessed with 16 great- grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at noon.

Private entombment will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
