Bobby Watkins

Mr. Robert D. “Bobby” Watkins, age 62, of Taylorsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 25, 2020.  Bobby was born on August 16, 1958 in Louisville, KY to the late Robert Julian Watkins and Gladys Watkins Hornback. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and brothers-in-law, listening to music and playing the guitar. He was also fond of woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Torry and Irma McGeorge. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 37 years, Vickie Watkins; children, April and Robert Jonathan Watkins; sisters, Linda McIntyre and Brenda Brown (Tom); brothers-in-law, Danny, Donnie and Rickie McGeorge and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial at 4:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
