Bonnie Lou Richardson

Mrs. Bonnie Lou Richardson, age 70, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 18, 2019. Bonnie was born on April 26, 1949 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Carrol and Gladys “McGuffin” Davis. Bonnie was a retired registered nurse and known as a current troublemaker by family and friends. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church, Ken Bowl Women’s bowling group and also a member of the Homemakers of Bullitt County. True to her spirit of giving, she was an organ donor. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents and brother, Craig Davis.

 She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years, Albert “Bert” Richardson; children, Rebecca “Becky” Ackerman, Beth Perry (Glen), Kasie Kessinger and Scotty Kessinger; grandchildren, Tyler and Konner Kessinger, Emma, Allison, Katherine, and Nolan Perry, and Blake Ackerman; great grandchild, Jackson Kessinger; sisters, Sue Smith (Wayne) and Dawn Hoskinson; best friends, Mary Pena and Suzanne Bohr (Niece); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Friday, August 23, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1pm until 8pm and on Friday from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
