Brenda Sue Sanders

Mrs. Brenda Sue (Hatchell) Sanders, age 73, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on August 26, 2021. Mrs. Sanders was born on October 22, 1947 in Madison, Indiana to the late Clarence and Pauline (Watkins) Hatchell. She was a nurses assistant at Baptist Health and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, siblings, Velma Hack, Lester and Leo Hatchell; and grandson, Hunter Ogle.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 50 years, Barry Sanders; daughters, Shannon Christensen (Paul) and Stacie Sanders; grandchildren, Brad, Hannah, Lauren, and Chance; great-granddaughter, Emma; brothers, Leland and Barry Hatchell; and her canine companion, Nash.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
