Brennan A Sears (27) passed away on Monday Aug 22nd. Although Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy slowly took away his ability to walk, it never took away his spirit and love for life. Brennan was known for his wonderful, quick-witted sense of humor, his beautiful smile, his gigantic laugh and his love for music. Brennan enjoyed family gatherings especially around his favorite holiday, Christmas.
Brennan is survived by his (Papa) Jim Sears, (Nana) Candace Sears, (Father) Joey Sears, and (Brother) Evan Sears who all devoted their lives by working together to take care of Brennan. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Greg and Jami Conway, cousins, Emily Doebereiner (Hunter) and Abi Conway, as well as many other family members who he loved dearly.
Brennan loved school and was a graduate of North Bullitt High School class of 2014.
A viewing and service will be held on Saturday, August 27th at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy and Brooks) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 1 pm until 4 pm at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask that a donation be made in Brennan’s name to “Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy” and/or Kourageous Kids and Palliative Care.
