Carol B. Holcomb

Carol B. Holcomb, age 83, of Okolona, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 29, 2023.   She was born in Louisville, KY on November 7, 1939, to the late Louis Henry Besten, Sr. and Virginia Besten.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Holcomb, Sr. and a son, Ronnie Holcomb, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Julie Hembree (Billy); stepdaughter, Debbie Thompson (Dave); stepson, Tony Holcomb (Pam); brother, Louis “Buddy” Besten, Jr. (Susie); sister, Beverly Hopkins, daughters-in-law, Billie Jean Holcomb and Sherry Cole; grandchildren, Greg (Nicole), Whitney, Savannah, Luke (Hannah), Journey (Cody), Bev (David), Shawn and Christian; great grandchildren, Angel, Ally, Olivia, Sadie, Jayleigh, Willow and Malakai; best friends, Dot, Betty and Ron; Holy Chapel of God church family; her dog, Bubba and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, June 3, 2023,  at the Holy Chapel of God, 2357 West Bluelick Rd., Shepherdsville, KY 40165 with burial to follow in the Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 3 pm until 8pm and on Saturday from 10 am until time of service at the church.
