Mrs. Carolyn Geanett Highbaugh, age 80, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Mrs. Highbaugh was born on August 27, 1945 in Adair County, KY to the late James O. Richard and Myrtle M. Keltner Richard. She was a devoted member of The Believer’s Church for over 50 years. She loved her church and her family so much, especially her great-grandson, Raylan.
In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, George D. Highbaugh; son, James D. Highbaugh and her sister, Barbara W. Sneed preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jeanette Martino (Vincent); daughter-in-law, Jennifer Highbaugh (Josh); grandchildren, Billy Highbaugh (Kelsey Allen) and Cody Highbaugh; great-grandson, Raylan Highbaugh; brother, Larry Richard (Leslie); sisters, Rachel Stinson (Tim) and Jeannie Richard (Amy); aunt, Josephine Rigney and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
