Carolyn Ann Ray

Ms. Carolyn Ann (Hatfield) Ray, age 75, of Fern Creek returned to her Heavenly Father on March 15, 2019.  Ms. Ray was born on November 4, 1943 in Louisville to the late George Washington Hatfield and Mae (Brentlinger) Clemons.  Ms. Ray was a chef at The Bee-Hive before retiring.

Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; step-father, Elmer Clemons, Sr.; and sister, Hazel Hurt.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Teresa (Bobby), Annette (Terry) and Barbie; grandchildren, Bridget (James), John (Lisa), Cheryl, Tiffany, Christopher and Vicky; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Ciara and Jaylin; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 5 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment at 10 am the following day in Brookland Cemetery.
