Charles Kenneth Bowman

Mr. Charles Kenneth Bowman, age 83, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 2, 2020.  Mr. Bowman was born on September 6, 1936 in St. Francis, KY to the late Damien and Mary Ruth Bowman. Mr. Bowman retired from Container Corporation after more than 30 years of service.

Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; brothers, Orville and David Bowman.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Nancy Bowman; children, Donna (Rusty) Robbins, Gary (Audrey) Bowman, Doug (Sherrie) Bowman, Karen (Tracy) Gaw and Donnie Bowman; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 more on the way; siblings, Bonnie (Roscoe) Fears, Judy (Jimmy) Barmore, Jimmy Bowman, Carolyn (William) Blair and Norma (Ron) Walker; sister-in-law, Jean Bowman.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
