Charles "Charlie" Lee Redmon

Charles “Charlie” Lee Redmon, age 81 of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 6, 1943, to the late Cecil and Julia “Grant” Redmon. He was a member of St. Theresa of Calcutta and worked in construction. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert, Jimmy and Philip Redmon; sisters, Glendola Nichols (Harold) and Faye Hamblin. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Lois Jean Redmon; his children, Mark Redmon (Val), Kevin Redmon (Lori), Joe Flaherty (Kim), Sandra Downey (John), Dee Jae Diliberto and Thomas Flaherty (Joann); brother, Cecil Alan Redmon; sister, Becky Sauer; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren ; and his very special aunt, Ethel Stevens; and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Shoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (North Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm  and on Wednesday 8:30 am until time of service.
