Charles Clifford Coleman, Jr.

Mr. Charles Clifford Coleman, Jr., age 76, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, August 7, 2020. Mr. Coleman was born on February 8, 1944 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles C. Coleman, Sr. and Juanita Hanke Coleman. Mr. Coleman retired from CSX after 41 years of service as a railroad carman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Coleman; brother, Paul Coleman (Jeri); granddaughter, Jenna Coleman and great-granddaughter, Madalynn Faye Coleman.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Ronald Coleman (Donna) and William Coleman (Tisha); grandchildren, William Chase (Christina), Christopher Lundergan (Lauren) and Tiffany Griffin (Chris); 9 great-grandchildren; brother, James Coleman (Penny) and sister, Judith Forrest (Alan).

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Brookland Cemetery.
