

Mr. Charles Kerr, age 81, a native of Russell County, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mr. Kerr was born to the late Olia and Martha Kerr in Russell County on February 12, 1936. Mr. Kerr was a retired brick mason, and a member of BAC Local 4 IN/KY and a member of Beckhamridge Separate Baptist Church. He was a U of K Wildcat fan and was a mean Monopoly player. He was a real outdoors man who loved farming, sports and horseracing. Of all the things he loved, Mr. Kerr loved his family and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed.
Among those who preceded him in death include his brother, Kenneth; and 4 sisters, Darlene, Ruth, Doris, and Maxine.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 59 years, Neline Kerr; 4 daughters, Nancy LaMaster (Edwin), Linda Hoke (Kenneth), Shelia Brock (Robert Drucker), and Vicky Kamousi (Jacob); 12 grandchildren, Eddie LaMaster, Amity Delisi, Eric LaMaster, Kelli Kamousi, Ryan Hoke, Laura Anderson, Joseph Brock, Leila Crees, Casey Hoke, Haley Hoke, Nicole Drucker, and Christopher Hoke; 3 great grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters, Carlie Kerr, Otis Kerr, Robert Kerr, Bonnie Stevens, Jeff Kerr, Ruth Hoover; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
A Funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.
