I just heard the terrible news in regards to Eddie. I have know Eddie for over 25 years was a great man with a heart of gold! You may be gone my friend but you will forever live in my heart! Prayers to his family.

01-29-13  I never watch the news.  I happened to be watching it just tonight and just NOW learned of this tragedy that happened to Eddie.  I cannot believe he is gone and I wondered why I had not heard from him in all these months.  I am very hurt and upset over this news.  Eddie did not deserve this, no one does. We were very special to each other and shared a lot over the years.   To his mother and father, family.. He loved you very much and talked a lot about you all and how he worried about his momma.  My heart aches and hurts for you all and also SHELBY.   I know that I am late in the game in my condolences, I just did not know and I am hurting.   Know that the Lord takes care of HIS own,, and also know that He is with the Lord and in heaven.  There will be a reunion day! I am left with the   "IF ONLY"S'  Life sure can hurt, but take heart.. He has overcome the world and your faith will see you through.. I have suffered great loss as well and I know this to be true! My heart and prayers are with you.. I wish I could give you a big hug and I wish I could tell Eddie how I really feel about him.. Please hug Shelby for me!!  If she ever needs a home she has one here..  Natalie  ( the tall friend )

Eddie is in a much better place now. I am deeply sorry for the loss you all are enduring.

I met Eddie in 2005 and knew him a short while. The one thing I know for sure is how much love he had for his mother and his dog Shelby. He doted on his mother every moment of his life. He was always kind to me and very respectful. I just can't believe what I am reading. I pray that he is resting in peace now. I pray for his mother, father and entire family. I pray Shelby will find a new home, for this dog had unconditional love for Eddie. They were best friends. God bless you all!

Remembering our friends as they go through this difficult time with the passing of Eddie. We are all praying for you and asking God to give you a peace only He can.

I have known Eddie since he was 9.  I am truly sorrowful for your loss.  May God comfort all of you in your time of sorrow.

I met Eddie about 4 or 5 years ago. We were both on the dating site called Plenty of Fish. At that time he was looking at maybe EMS as a new job option. I remember going out to dinner and then the Comedy Caravan on our first date. He had such a good heart. He had 4 tickets to the Caravan, but only needed the 2. His other friends were not able to join us. We ran across a young couple outside that was standing in line for tickets and he offered them to the couple. They were so happy. I thought that was very sweet of him because they were tickets he had paid for.  I remember sitting in his livingroom, with his dog, and him talking about his parents. He wanted to live close so he could help take care of them. He talked about getting them donuts, fixing up a little fish pond, and other things he did. I breifly met his parents when he was showing me the pond.  He cracked me up when we went out to eat for the first time and he ordered a steak. I ordered a chicken salad. Well, he was'nt happy with the way the steak was cooked, so he sent it back. While it was being cooked awhile linger, he ate all my salad. lol  Always smiling, and just wanted to find someone to spend his life with. He loved his family, his dog, his motorcycle, and his car. Oh..and absolutely loved the motorcycle clock that his mom gave him.  My thoughts and prayers to the family. My heart is very sad.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of the family in many years.  We had lived in Florida for the last 16 years and just recently moved back.  I was looking forward to looking up and seeing the family in the near future.  However, this was not the way I wanted to look them up.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family.  I can't imagine how devasted the family is by this horrible act of cruelness.  They will never be ever to replace their son....     Again, I am sooo sorry for your loss and if there is anything I can do, please feel free to contact me.  I would be more than happy to do whatever I can to ease your pain.   I had heard this on the news, however, I did not catch the name of the victim.  However, once I found out it was Eddie, it broke my heart.  Not only for the loss of Eddie, but what this will do to his family, especially Mildred who has been extremely ill for years now.  May God Bless and be with her at this time.

I am so terribly  upset over this. I have known Eddie for so many years. He use to live across the street from us when he was a child. May Eddie Rest In Peach. God please be with the family.
