Cheryl Morris

Cheryl Morris age 72 of Okolona returned to her Heavenly father on May 26, 2016 with family by her side. Among those who preceded her in death are her parents Cecil and Doris Simms; husband, David Morris; daughter, Karen Morris. She was a retiree of Sears after 30 years and a member of Brooks Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Kevin Morris (Gina); daughter, Cheryl Holder (Todd); brothers, Carl Simms (Donna), Earl Simms (Tracy) Roger Simms (Michelle); sister, Diana Brown (Rick); 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 8 great grandchildren; sisters in Christ, Mary Powell, Karen Creek and Judy Warren along with her caregivers at Golden Living Hill Creek and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted Noon on Wednesday in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
