I am so sorry to just learn of Cody's passing.  What a tragedy.  I only knew Cody through the gym.  Never really worked out most of my life and finally decided I needed to start going.  One day I was trying to figure out a piece of equipment, Cody just happened to be near by, and asked him for his help.  After that he was always willing to offer advice when I ran into him or had questions about lifting.  We would talk every time we saw each other in the gym.  Then he got Grace and showed me a picture.  I told him it was a good thing he bought her because I would have outbid him at least 3 times what he bought.  That always made him smile.  I told him if Grace ever had puppies I was going to be first in line to buy.  I will miss his help and stories.  My condolences to all his friends and family.

Cody cody cody,  Where do I even begin?   First of all you left your sweater here, it still smells like you.  Any minute now I wait for the sound of your key and a  turn of a knob. I can still hear your footsteps walking towards me while I'm half asleep on the couch.  I miss the way you and Gracey would wake me up.  You Kneeling down to tell me you missed me and you brought pancake mix while Gracey may licked my freckles damn near off my face.     
   No one can make me laugh or smile the way you do.    You have a peice of my heart that no one else will ever have or even come close to having.     I miss you so much.  There was so much I wanted tell you. I should have told you.    I cherished our cody/krystal so much.   I never could seem to find the words to express the love I have for you.   You have given me the best gift of all.  Yourself.   Love you miss you so bad my heart literally aches Xoxoxo.  This isn't goodbye only till then.

I’m sending all of you so much love. I know that Cody knew he was loved and he loved well in return. Praying for you all in the weeks and months to come. 

I served in the Marine Corp with Cody and he was always one of the better ones do to his positive attitude. I was one of his seniors during his time in the military and I can honestly say he was the ideal Marine. Gone way too soon but he will not be forgotten. Rest in paradise brother, til Valhalla.

I cannot believe your gone Cody. I know I’m going to see you and again but this is so hard. I will never forget meeting you your first year in Hawaii. You were only 18 and so excited and full of life. You were a great friend and someone my sister cared for very much. You Will always be in our thoughts. 

My heart goes out to you in this time of grief. My prayers are being lifted up and asking God to wrap you in his arms to bring comfort and pease.

I have so many fond memories of our trips to Kentucky and the time we spent together as kids. I wish we would have had more time together but I know we will meet again cousin! Love you and say hi to my angels up in heaven for me!

Cody words can't express what you mean to me. I will forever cherish our friendship and I will always hold you close to my heart. You was the best guy friend a girl could ever ask for. I can't beleive you are gone. I love you Cody Wayne 💔

We shared so much. Yet had such little time. I’ve known you my entire time I’ve been in Louisville. I would always watch, intrigued by how much you’ve accomplished. And when i finally met you, i never knew the humble, goofy and caring giant that you were going to be. You took me on a brunch date to Cheesecake Factory and introduced me to my first Mimosa (then we got lost walking to the theater, which i convinced you was just extra cardio). We shared so many gym memories as well...I was the one behind the camera capturing you. And you did the same, in return, for me. You were the only person I actually allowed around me during my prep, you were so proud of what I’d done. You actually were the first to capture a video of me during this time (even though you forgot to hit record the first time and just stood unknowingly pointing the camera at me lol) but you opened my eyes to appreciate what I had accomplished. You are the reason I began loving myself again during such a trying and exhausting time. I wish I could share more, but I’d be writing a novel. You are so loved, Cody.
