Cordie Marie Garland Schultz

  Cordie Marie Garland Schultz, age 67, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 30, 2022.   She was born in Corbin, KY on June 2, 1955, to the late Willis Garland and Myrtle Smith Garland.  She ran her own cleaning service for several years, B & M Cleaning Services.

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 19 siblings.

  She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of nearly 50 years, Edward J. Schultz, Jr., having united in marriage on September 23, 1972;  a son, Robert Joseph Schultz; her daughter, Theresa Marie White; three grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Hopper, Amber Renee Hopper and Katelynn Marie White; one great grandchild, Adelina Mae; three brothers, Jerry Garland, Bert Garland and Willis Garland, Jr. ; four sisters, Minnie Burks, Mary Johnson, Lucy Keller and Pamela Clark and a host of other dear family and friends.

   Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy.  Shepherdsville, KY 40165) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
