Cynthia & Baby Jonathan Collins

Cynthia Dee Collins, age 25, of Mt. Washington, Ky, and her son “Jonathan Thomas Collins” (Baby)  gave her life for a life, on Tuesday February 7, 2023, when they returned to their Heavenly Father. Cynthia was born on January 13, 1998 to Jerry Dale Collins and Andrea (Warren) Collins. She was a member of Sun Valley General Baptist Church, she enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, she had a very humorist wit about her, she had an outgoing personality, and she had a very kind heart. Cynthia was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece she will be truly missed by and all who knew her. 

 She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Marvin and Carol Collins, and Cecil and Jacqueline Clayborn.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving parents Jerry and Andrea Collins, two brothers, Caleb and Zachary Collins, grandparents, Luther Collins, and Shelly Vowels, aunt, Elizabeth Hudson; fiancé, Matthew Davis; along with a host of many cousins, and other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville, KY) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at noon at the funeral home.
