Darin Joseph Quintero, age 60 of Clarksville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2026. He was born on February 3, 1966, in LA, California later moving to Kentucky. He grew up in Campbellsville, where he enjoyed playing sports and going to the lake. He lived in Columbus, Ohio for a while where he fell in love with Ohio State sports and they became his team to watch. Darin made friends everywhere he went and has a host of friends too numerous to count.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Quintero, mother LaVena Richardson and stepfather, Joseph Richardson.
He is survived by his daughter Kaitlynne Quintero of Ohio; a brother, Michael Logsdon (Sandy) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his sisters, Monica McIntosh (Larry) of Louisville and Greta Orlaska (David) of Dana Point, California. He is also survived by two step brothers, Michael Richardson (Saundra) of Ohio and Edward Richardson of Kentucky along with two step sisters, Christine Judy and Beth Armstrong both of Ohio; the pride of his life his granddaughter, Lilianna Stepp of Ohio and his good friend Sherrie Malyska of Clarksville, Indiana along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 2pm till 8pm with a service at 4:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home at 4895 N. Preston Hwy. Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Burial will be on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 11:00 am Central time at Campground Cemetery, 2531 Priceville Rd. Bonneville, Kentucky, 42713.
