He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Patti Schott; children, David Allen Schott Jr., Christopher Lee Schott (Donna), Carl Adam Schott, Nicholas James Schott (Alyssa) and Sara Emily Schott; grandchildren, Abigail, David, Olivia, Emma, Rebecca, Katie and Dylan; siblings, Danny, Diana, Denise, Shawn "David" and Shelly; parents, Margaret and Kyle Schott; stepmother, Carol Curry and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from noon until 8:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
