Deborah Jean Colvin Anderson

    Deborah Jean Anderson, age 65, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 9, 2022.   She was born in Jefferson County, KY on April 3, 1957, to the late Melvin Henry Colvin and Winona Yvonne Corley Colvin.

     She had worked at the Fern Creek High School as a cafeteria worker.  She was also a talented “bartender extraordinaire”

  Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ray Colvin.

    She leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life for 24 years, James D. Brown; two sons, Lucas Shane Proctor (Lindsey Blu) and Robert Jeffrey Proctor (Daniel); a daughter, Cassandra Bridges (Daniel); four grandchildren, Mikayla Proctor, Kaiyah Patterson, McKenzie Bridges and Maizie Bridges; three brothers, Gary Lee Colvin, Larry Lynn Colvin and Rex Lane Colvin; a sister, Sondra Kay O’Brien; a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

    A Celebration of Life will be from 4 until 8 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).
