Deborah Beard Thompson

Deborah Beard Thompson age 58 of Highland Park returned to her Heavenly Father on June 27, 2015 with family by her side. Among those who preceded her in death are her parents Clyde and Norma Beard; brothers, Bobby and David Beard; sister, Arlene Walden. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church and a custodian at Assumption High School. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 42 years Michael Thompson; sons, Troy Thompson, Travis Thompson (Jaime); three grandchildren, Nathan Thompson, Sierra Thompson and Nicholas Stevens; sisters, Lavena Parker (Tom) and Joyce Ann Oldham; brother, Danny Beard (Penny) and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Kenwood Baptist Church 6603 South Third Street with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road use John Harper entrance).Expression of sympathy can be made to Kenwood Baptist Church or Assumption High School.
