Mrs. Debra Ann Skaggs, age 60, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 19, 2022. She was born on Saturday, February 17, 1962 in Louisville, to the late Carl and Geneva King. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lloydd Skaggs.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Stewart Bookwalter and Daniel Bookwalter; her siblings, Jason King, Brian Hall (Paula) and Shirley King; her stepchildren, Kenny Skaggs, Hope and Larry Runyon; her grandchildren, Clare Morris, Cody Bookwalter, Demi Bookwalter, Alex Runyon, Douglas Runyon and Trent Skaggs; along with a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday 3 pm until 8 pm and on Friday 10 am until time of service at 1:30 pm.
