Dennis "DJ" Marc Cochran, Jr.

Mr. Dennis Marc “DJ” Cochran, Jr., age 22, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was born on July 11, 2001 in Louisville, Kentucky to Dennis Cochran, Sr. and the late Lisa (Tyler) Cochran. DJ worked on the engine line at Ford KTP. He is preceded in death by his mother and fur sibling, Teny.

DJ was one that would help someone if he was able. He was an avid giver. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews. His hobbies included playing the PS5 with his nephews, watching NCIS and spending time with family. He loved animals but his favorites were dogs. DJ was one that could make people laugh and feel loved. When he passed, he took a piece of everyone’s heart with him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his dad, Dennis Cochran, Sr.; sisters, Autumn, Sommer, Schuster (Charlie) and Taylor Cochran; nephews, Zach and Paul Schuster; niece, Rylie Schuster; aunts, Paula Tyler, Robbin Wright, Chelsea Cochran and Cailyn (Cochran) Vest; uncles, Steve and Michael Cochran; fur siblings, Abby and Toby; best friend, Alex Newton; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
