Dennis Edward Morton

Mr. Dennis Edward Morton, age 64, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 19, 2024. Mr. Morton was born in Louisville, KY on November 20, 1959 to the late Ronald Lee Morton and Wanda Louise Blevins Morton. He served in the United States Army and was a skilled concrete finisher. 

In addition to his parents, his brother, Terry Morton preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jeremy Helm, Amanda Hester (Bo) and  Chad Morton (Kristyn Singleton); grandchildren, Hanna, Preston, Alissa, Jude, and Willa; siblings, Darlene McMillion (Roger), Judy Wallace (Buddy) and Keith Morton (Stephanie) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 26, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, April 25 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial and military honors will be held at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
