Donald Wayne Parker

Mr. Donald Wayne Parker, age 68, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Mr. Parker was born in Louisville, KY on August 8, 1951 to the late Clarence Thomas Parker and Lavena Beard Parker. He retired from General Electric.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 25 years, Karen Welsh  Parker; his children, Katherine Parker (Heather), Stephanie Cox (Andy), Robby Burns (Melisa), Sean Burns and Michael Burns; grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Morgan, Haley, Aaron, Matthew and Katie; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Peters (Roy), Richard Parker and Kim Rigsby (Jeff)  and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
