Donald Glen Tarrence

Donald “Pete” Glen Tarrence, age 71, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 21, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 6, 1954, to the late Raymond Tarrence and Wanda Mcelvain. Pete was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His family was the center of his universe. He was an entrepreneur and loved working on his own ventures. Pete was a long-time member of AA, where he celebrated sobriety for 29 years. In Pete’s free time, he enjoyed gardening, his cats, and playing pool. Pete’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Tarrence and his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Sheila Maggard (Chad), Donnie Tarrence, Jessica Jordan (Bruce), Heather Avila, and Cody Shramm; grandchildren, Allison, Chad, Cody, Chase, Olivia, Anna, Chris, Ben, Elexus, Braydan, Mason, and Ava; great-grandchildren, Andrés, Gabriella, and Elani; siblings, 2 brother and 2 sisters ; along with many other family and friends.
