Dorothy Loraine Hadley, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born November 8, 1935, in LaRue County, Kentucky. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Jesse and Otha Atherton Brewer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hadley; parents; three sons, Joey, Gary and Jeff Hadley; brother, Thomas Brewer; four sisters, Helen Ireland, Elsie Neagle, Naomi Powers and Ella Clark. She was a member of Radiant Life Church of God and Retired from Bullitt Co. Board of Education. Survivors include daughter, Pam Rivers; son, Terry W. Hadley; daughter-in-law, Cynthia R. Hadley; sister, Lois Noe; brother, Stanley L. Brewer; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway), with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 4 pm until 8 pm and Saturday 9 am. until time of service.
