Mr. Edward (Glenn) Satterly, Jr., age 63, of Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly father on Monday, June 8, 2026, after a long illness. Glenn was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Edward Glenn “Buddy” Satterly, Sr., and Gloria Jean (Singleton) Satterly. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served his country for 5 years. Glenn enjoyed culture and history, especially those of the countries he visited during his service. He sighted the Great Buddha statue of the Kōtoku-in temple in Kamakura Japan as one of his most memorable moments overseas. He enjoyed History, Dungeons and Dragons, shooting on a range, the K-Drama Judge from Hell, and video games such as Heroes of Might and Magic, Diablo, and Skyrim especially. Glenn will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons Glenn Ryan Satterly, and John Cooper Satterly, his mother Gloria Jean Satterly, brother Steve Satterly (Kaye), niece Kristina Adams, nephew Brady Adams, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other dear family and friends.
Cremation was Chosen and there will be no services. The family request that in lieu of flowers or wind chimes please donate to the American Cancer Society in Glenns name.
